고려대 재생의학연구소, 유케어트론과 공동연구 MOU
고려대 재생의학연구소는 지난 28일 전자의료기기 및 인공지능 연구개발 전문기업 유케어트론과 공동연구개발에 관한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.협약식에는 문두건 재생의학연구소 소장(고려대 구로병원 비뇨의학과 교수)과 장지환 유케어트론 대표이사가 공동 업무 수행을 논의했다.이번 협약은 비뇨기과적 진단과 치료기기 및 비뇨기과적 질병의 장내미생물 변화에 따른 인공지능 분석 방법을 공동 연구개발하기 위해 이뤄졌다. 최근 비뇨기과적 질병의 주요한 원인 중 하나인 인체의 신경시스템 오류에 대한 진단과 이를 통한 미세 전류 자극 방법의 개발이 요구된다. 또 장기적 관점에서 뇌장축(Brain-Gut Axis)에 관여하는 장내미생물의 유의미한 변화를 관찰해 유산균을 통한 치료 및 신경 자극을 통한 치료가 새로운 의료기술로 부상하고 있다.양 기관은 업무협약을 통해 단기적으로는 비뇨기과적인 질병에 대한 새로운 진단 모델을 확보하고 장기적으로는 이를 진단할 수 있는 의료기기 및 인공지능적 분석 방법을 개발하며 이를 치료할 수 있는 임상연구를 시작할 예정이다.문두건 고려대 재생의학연구소소장은 “비뇨기과적인 질병에 대한 진단과 치료에 대한 패러다임 변화가 요구되는 시기에 신경계를 자극하는 방법과 인공지능적 분석을 통한 체계적인 진단을 위해 협약을 체결했다”며 “우리나라의 비뇨기과적인 의료기술이 한 단계 업그레이드될 것을 기대한다”고 말했다.장지환 유케어트론 대표이사는 “이번 공동 개발 협약으로 비뇨기과적 질병에 대한 인과 관계의 명확한 규명과 함께 그동안 연구 개발해 온 기술들이 융합돼 새로운 의료제품으로 시장 진출을 기대하고 있다”고 말했다.링크 : https://n.news.naver.com/article/030/0002864412

CNT를 이용한 FET소자 연구AbstractWe demonstrate that Au-cluster-decorated single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) may be used to discriminate single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP). Nanoscale Au clusters were formed on the side walls of carbon nanotubes in a transistor geometry using electrochemical deposition. The effect of Au cluster decoration appeared as hole doping when electrical transport characteristics were examined. Thiolated single-stranded probe peptide nucleic acid (PNA) was successfully immobilized on Au clusters decorating single-walled carbon nanotube field-effect transistors (SWNT-FETs), resulting in a conductance decrease that could be explained by a decrease in Au work function upon adsorption of thiolated PNA. Although a target single-stranded DNA (ssDNA) with a single mismatch did not cause any change in electrical conductance, a clear decrease in conductance was observed with matched ssDNA, thereby showing the possibility of SNP (single nucleotide polymorphism) detection using Au-cluster-decorated SWNT-FETs. However, a power to discriminate SNP target is lost in high ionic environment. India is considered the diabetes capital of the world. Plug this statement into a google search and many articles appear confirming this. The statistics support this claim as well. According to the IDF, about 72 million people currently suffer from diabetes in India.All things considered, this presents a very large challenge for the Indian health system, as most patients do not have access to affordable blood glucose monitoring devices or treatment centers close by in their communities.
